Inter defender Ibrahima Mbaye is “wanted by Sunderland, Monaco, Bologna, Palermo and Livorno,” confirmed his agent.
The Senegalese centre-back is still only 18, but already caught the eye at San Siro and beyond.
“We had a meeting with Inter and it’s true that Sunderland are interested in Mbaye,” agent Giuseppe Accardi told FCInterNews.
“However, right now Inter have taken him off the market. He also received offers from Monaco, Bologna, Palermo and Livorno, but Inter always turned them down.
“I believe he ought to play regularly, so after the pre-season training camp we’ll evaluate the situation and see what is best. I’d prefer a year on loan to gain experience.”
