Brazil’s Thiago Silva is showing Italy respect ahead of this weekend’s Confederations Cup clash between the two nations.

The duo have already assured qualification to the semi-finals, but the tie will decide who will win the group and who will finish second.

“It will be a really difficult game,” the Paris Saint-Germain centre-back noted. “They have Andrea Pirlo who is one of the best in the world, while there is Mario Balotelli in attack.”

Silva moved to France last summer after Milan opted to sell him and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the capital outfit.

“I miss Italy, as I miss Milan,” he added. “I had a few difficulties in Paris at the start, but I’ve now settled.”
