Manuel Pasqual is in discussions with Fiorentina about a new contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The left-back’s current deal expires in June 2014, but the defender wants to remain with the Tuscan outfit.
“We’ve already discussed a renewal with Fiorentina,” agent Gastone Rizzato told Viola News. “We’ll meet again in 10-15 days to better define the situation.
“The player’s desire is well know – he wants to stay in Florence and there will be no problems. But we want everything to be sorted before the start of the new season.”
Pasqual, now 31, joined the Viola in the summer of 2005 from Arezzo. He’s been capped twice by Italy.
The former Treviso man scored two goals in 35 League games during the past campaign.
