The 23-year-old has been a sensation at Saint-Etienne, earning links with Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus, Inter, Real Madrid and Chelsea.
“A few years ago they told me that after playing with Milan, if I were to leave, then I’d want to come back to the Rossoneri,” he told French magazine Scarface.
“I now feel ready to confirm it really is like that. I would like a return to Milan, but I don’t know if that would be an easy thing to achieve.”
The Rossoneri sold youth academy product Aubameyang in 2011 after farming him out on loan to Dijon, Lille and Monaco.
He scored 19 goals and provided 14 assists in 37 Ligue 1 games this season.
