Parma Coach Roberto Donadoni’s assistant has confirmed “an offer arrived from Roma,” but not Milan.

The tactician was repeatedly linked with the Rossoneri bench to replace Massimiliano Allegri, as he spent most of his playing career at San Siro.

“Have there been offers from Milan? No, we never received anything,” assistant manager Mario Bortolazzi told Sky Sport Italia.

“If anything, an offer arrived from Roma. In any case, nothing will happen, as we will certainly remain at Parma.”

The Giallorossi have several different options for the bench if first choice Allegri falls through.

These include Laurent Blanc, Roberto Mancini, Marcelo Bielsa and now also Donadoni.
