Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is dropped from Italy’s Confederations Cup squad and on his way out of Roma after an incredible verbal attack on his Coach.

The striker only came on for the final 15 minutes of Sunday’s 1-0 Coppa Italia Final defeat to arch rivals Lazio.

He was spotted hurling abuse at manager Aurelio Andreazzoli, then refused to accept his runners-up medal.

When Osvaldo verbally attacked Andreazzoli via Twitter, it was the final straw for Italy and Roma.

“You’d have been better off just admitting you’re incompetent… Go and celebrate with Lazio…”

Cesare Prandelli has imposed a strict code of ethics in the Italy squad and this latest outburst will cost Osvaldo a place at the Confederations Cup.

Although not yet official, it is widely reported Osvaldo will be dropped from the squad for the tournament as well as the friendly against San Marino and the World Cup qualifier with the Czech Republic.

Roma have also put the errant forward on the market, alerting clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Fiorentina, Juventus and Tottenham to his availability.
