Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed speculation that Juventus target Zlatan Ibrahimovic has asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
The Swede has been linked this summer with an exit from PSG after just a single season, whilst his comments at the weekend indicated that he may have requested a transfer.
However, his Coach, who is strongly linked with a departure himself this summer, has dismissed such speculation surrounding the former Inter and Milan man.
“This is not true, he did not ask to leave the club,” Ancelotti told L’Equipe this week.
“Our relationship is good, as it is with other players. I’m glad that they want me to stay because it means that they have enjoyed my work. I have also enjoyed theirs.
“I believed that he could have a very good season, but it was not easy for him to perform so strongly from the very start because this was a new championship.
“He has been key to us winning the League, because he showed character and professionalism and was a very good example for everyone. He gave 100 per cent of his potential.”
