Temperature rises for Coppa Final

Roma and Lazio face off for the Coppa Italia Final at 17.00 UK time today, a game that represents “all or nothing” for both teams.

Victory at the Stadio Olimpico is the only chance either club has of qualifying for the Europa League.

It also represents their only target for the otherwise unsuccessful season, not to mention bragging rights in the most important Derby della Capitale there has ever been.

Roma have another reason to want the trophy, as they would become the first club ever to win 10 editions of the Coppa Italia and therefore have a permanent silver star on their jerseys.

Maarten Stekelenburg is out of action for the Giallorossi, who play their final game under Interim Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli.

Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi are expected to start with either Pablo Daniel Osvaldo or Coppa hitman Mattia Destro up front.

Lazio are without Louis Saha due to a thigh strain, while Alvaro Gonzalez and Andre Dias are carrying knocks.

Miroslav Klose will lead the way with support from Hernanes and Antonio Candreva in Vladimir Petkovic's side.

Probable line-ups:

Roma (4-2-3-1): Lobont; Marquinhos, Burdisso, Castan, Balzaretti; Bradley, De Rossi; Lamela, Totti, Marquinho; Osvaldo

Roma bench: Goicoechea, Romagnoli, Piris. Dodò, Taddei, Torosidis, Tachtsidis, Florenzi, Perrotta, Pjanic, Destro, Lopez

Lazio (4-1-4-1): Marchetti; Konko, Biava, Cana, Radu; Ledesma; Candreva, Onazi, Hernanes, Lulic; Klose

Lazio bench: Bizzarri, Strakosha, Dias, Ciani, Pereirinha, Stankevicius, Gonzalez, Mauri, Ederson, Crecco, Floccari, Kozak
