Palermo will not offer any discount when it comes to selling Josip Ilicic just because they have been relegated to Serie B.

The Slovenian international will be sold by the Rosanero this summer, but chief Maurizio Zamparini has warned he’ll only entertain serious offers.

“Everyone knows that Ilicic is available,” Zamparini told Ita Sport Press. “But we are waiting for the right offer.

“We have no intention to just give away our best players.

“I invite any clubs interested to come forward with concrete bids because we will be offering no reductions.

“If somebody wants Ilicic then they will have to pay what he is worth, otherwise I could decide to keep him.

“That applies to all of the players here and not just the Slovenian.”

Ilicic, 25, scored 10 goals in 31 League games for the Stadio Barbera outfit.

Roma and Napoli are interested in the player.
