Allegri 'lacks Ancelotti's diplomacy'

Billy Costacurta believes Max Allegri will leave Milan because he didn’t have Carlo Ancelotti’s diplomacy.

There are reports the Coach will be heading for the exit, possibly as early as this evening, after a series of clashes with President Silvio Berlusconi.

“The Scudetto they lost to Juventus last season and the negative start to this campaign probably caused the split,” former defender Costacurta told Radio Mana Mana Sport.

“I imagine that Allegri did not reply to Berlusconi’s criticism over the phone the same way that Ancelotti did.

“The President would ask Carlo to field Kaka in a more attacking position, so Ancelotti told Kaka to do it for the first five minutes of the match!”

There are continuing reports that Roma have lined up a three-year contract for Allegri.
