Lorenzo Insigne’s agent has hinted at a summer departure from Napoli after stating “he can’t give his best in Walter Mazzarri’s tactics.”

The pint-sized Italy Under-21 international is a fan favourite at his hometown club, but has struggled to find a starting spot this season.

“Of course Lorenzo is lucky to have been trained by Mazzarri, but he can’t give his best in these tactics because he has to use up all his energy tracking back,” agent Fabio Andreotti told Radio Kiss Kiss.

There have been numerous reports that Mazzarri and Edinson Cavani could leave the San Paolo at the end of the season.

“President Aurelio De Laurentiis will continue his project anyway and has always said everyone is important, but nobody is indispensable.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Mazzarri were to say goodbye and the same goes for Cavani. If they can help set the scene for a new era at Napoli, then it is welcome.”
