The Brazilian is rumoured to be on his way out of San Siro after he came very close to leaving the club in January.

However, speaking to Milan Channel on Thursday, the 29-year-old has explained how keen he is to return to Champions League action.

“Yesterday we got three important points at Pescara and now we have to continue on this path,” the forward commented.

“Our objective is third place and we hope to wrap that up as soon as Sunday against Roma. I’m in good shape and let’s hope that we’ll be playing in the Champions League next season.”

The Diavolo have had a very strong second half of the season and their progress has been aided by the January arrival of Mario Balotelli.

“To have Balotelli from the start of the campaign next season will be a very important factor for us,” Robinho continued.

The Italian international has scored 11 goals in 11 Serie A games for the Rossoneri.
