Sannino: 'I don't want Serie B'

Palermo take on Udinese and Coach Giuseppe Sannino warns “we need the game of our lives. I don’t want to go into Serie B.”

The Sicilians are third from bottom on 32 points, three adrift of Genoa in the safety zone, so the situation is increasingly desperate.

“Tomorrow we need the game of our lives if we want to keep hoping,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“The team has got to take responsibility, as we are professionals here. The players are not children and have to shoulder their share of the responsibility in order to grow.

“I don’t want to go into Serie B, so we must do everything we can to stay in the top flight. We played the way we had to against Juventus, but now is the time to show at all cost what we’ve been unable to do so far this season.

“Udinese are a quality opponent who are fighting for Europe. They are the favourites, but we want to upset the predictions.”

Massimo Donati sits out a ban in defence, but Michel Morganella returns.

Palermo squad for Udinese: Benussi, Brichetto, Sorrentino; Aronica, Dossena, Garcia, Mantovani, Morganella, Munoz, Nelson, Von Bergen; Arevalo Rios, Anselmo, Barreto, Faurlin, Formica, Ilicic, Kurtic, Viola; Boselli, Dybala, Fabbrini, Hernandez, Miccoli, Sperduti
