Sebastian Giovinco is more likely to renew his contract at Juventus than leave the club this summer, says his agent.

The Italian international has been paired with a possible move to Napoli, but that option has been shot down by Claudio Pasqualin.

“The rumours about Napoli are absurd,” the representative told calciomercato.it. “He’s really charged, more than ever, to continue his Bianconero adventure.

“If anything, there is the possibility of extending his current agreement for another season. We’ve already discussed that with the directors and we’ll talk again, even if there is no rush on that.”

Giovinco has scored seven goals in 29 League games for the champions this term, but he has his doubters.

“Criticism is part of the game, but we accept that with total tranquillity,” Pasqualin continued.

“He’s had a very positive season and boss Antonio Conte considered him as a first-team regular until his march was halted by injury.”
