Diego Milito is a better striker than Napoli’s Edinson Cavani, says Inter teammate Andrea Ranocchia.
The Uruguayan international smashed home a hat-trick against the Nerazzurri last night, but the stopper still rates Milito as a more difficult player to stop.
“Is Cavani the hardest player to mark? They always ask me this and I always say the same thing – it's Milito and fortunately I'm on the same team as him now,” the former Genoa man told Inter Channel.
“Of course Cavani is a very good player, as is Miroslav Klose who we play against on Wednesday.”
The 33-year-old Milito scored nine goals in 20 Serie A games this term until his season was ended by knee ligament damage.
Klose, meanwhile, scored five on Sunday afternoon in Lazio’s 6-0 win over Bologna.
