Lazio and Bologna are waiting to pounce should striker Franco Di Santo opt to leave Wigan Athletic.
Both Serie A teams are said to be interested in the 24-year-old Argentine, who will be a free agent in June.
“It is true there is interest in Franco,” a source was quoted as telling The Sun.
“But he wants to wait until the end of season and see where Wigan are before deciding what to do next.”
Di Santo has scored only five goals this term and has been in England since 2008 with Chelsea, a loan spell at Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic from 2010.
