Inter legend Beppe Bergomi has welcomed Nerazzurri links with the Barcelona trio of Martin Montoya, Alexis Sanchez and Marc Bartra.
“I really like Montoya,” the 1982 World Cup winner told Sky Sport Italia. “We all know that Sanchez did very well in Italy with Udinese. Bartra, too, is a talented youngster.”
The Corriere dello Sport claimed this week that Beneamata sporting director Piero Ausilio was in Barcelona on Wednesday for talks with Nou Camp officials.
The San Siro outfit have been looking at Montoya, a versatile defender, given that his contract is set to expire in June 2014.
Sanchez, meanwhile, was targeted by the Beneamata before he joined Barca from Udinese two years ago.
Bartra is a possible reinforcement for the club’s options at centre-back.
