Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini has insisted that Luis Muriel will not leave the club over the summer.
The Colombia international has been attracting attention from a number of top Serie A sides over the past few months – with the likes of Juventus and Fiorentina reportedly interest.
But the administrator has claimed that the 22-year-old forward will stay at Stadio Friuli.
“Muriel is a major talent,” he told reporters. “There will be time to talk about his future, but that is not now.
“Neither Fiorentina nor Juventus have made an offer for him.
“He is still very young and has plenty of time to grow.
“Udinese want to keep him for another year – and I think for him that would be the right thing to do.”
