The billionaire from Kazakhstan who has been linked with Inter insists “there is no project” to invest.
Reports emerged over the last couple of days that President Massimo Moratti had met with an emissary of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, at the Appiano Gentile training ground.
Today Swiss media claimed there is also a link with Mabetex, the company that is expected to build the new Inter stadium and also met with the Kazakhstan President.
However, billionaire Bulat Utemuratov insisted “the news in the papers yesterday was false, as there is no project to invest in Inter.
“I have no plans for sport other than tennis. I am focused on developing the sport of tennis in my country, work which absorbs most of my time.”
Utemuratov is in the Forbes list of richest men in the world.
