Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia has welcomed transfer links with Italian giants Inter.
The 27-year-old is being paired with a possible switch to the Stadio Meazza at the end of the season and he’s admitted to past contact.
“Inter has always been a dream,” the Argentine, who also holds an Italian passport, told TMW on Wednesday.
“They wanted me in January and there were discussions, but I’ve not had any contact since then. We’ll see what happens, but I’m just thinking about Anderlecht for now.”
The Nerazzurri have had a tough season, but Biglia insists that they can return to a competitive level next term.
“It is normal that some teams are struggling in Italy because Juventus are very strong, but Inter have a great squad,” he added.
“I hope that I’ll have the chance to play in Serie A sooner or later.”
