Adriano Galliani insists that his Milan side deserved at least a point from their trip to Juventus on Sunday.

The Rossoneri lost the game 1-0 thanks to an Arturo Vidal penalty after Marco Amelia brought down Kwadwo Asamoah.

“It was one of those games that was always going to end 0-0, but then there was that episode,” the Vice-President noted.

“It is always tough to talk when we lose games, but I don’t think we deserved to lose. We played a good game.

“At 0-0, there weren’t many chances either for us or for Juventus. We slipped up a bit with our finishing.”

Milan, 18 points behind leaders Juve, are now just a point clear of fourth-placed Fiorentina with five games left.

“Now we have to hang on to third place to get into the Champions League preliminary stages which is very important,” Galliani continued.

“We shouldn’t be afraid now.

“Also, there won’t be the present gap between ourselves and Juventus next season…”
