The Partenopei have a four-point advantage in the standings and a full squad to choose from, whereas the Rossoneri do without suspended star striker Mario Balotelli.

“This is a delicate game, because the media act as if we are favourites and in reality that is not the case,” Behrami told Radio Marte.

“Milan are in great shape and have won many matches recently. We must not let their unexpected draw with 10-man Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”12″>Fiorentina push us to drop concentration levels.

“If we lose, they will be right behind us. In my view, this optimism is unjustified.”

When they met at the San Paolo earlier this season, Milan fought back from 2-0 down for a 2-2 draw.

“I won at San Siro against Milan when I was playing for Fiorentina and we were fortunate. If you cut off their supply and create some chances, then you can win.

“The important thing will be to immediately put them under pressure and remain solid in defence, because we have great forwards who will have the chance to strike.

“My job will be to press players like Riccardo Montolivo and Kevin-Prince Boateng, who like to play between the lines.

“Milan are strong and, like us, are going through a period of change. We must be humble at San Siro, because if we get the wrong attitude then we’re in for a pounding.”
