Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani has conceded that it has 'not been a very good year' for the club.

The Delfini are currently bottom of Serie A, six points adrift of safety. And the owner has admitted that had they kept Zdenek Zeman, Ciro Immobile and Marco Verratti, all of whom were at the team last season, then things could have been different.

“Unfortunately, there is sorrow for how things have gone,” he told Tutto Juve. “It has definitely not been a very good year for us.

“I was talking with Immobile last week, and perhaps, with the structure of last term, we could have done better.

“Zeman made his choice [to join Roma]. And I was glad for him.

“Marco Verratti [at PSG] has managed to carve out an important place in one of the most important club in the world.”
