Italy Under-21 boss Devis Mangia says he won’t make a decision on his future until the end of this summer’s European Championship.
The tactician, born in 1974, was handed control of the Azzurrini in July after Ciro Ferrara left for Sampdoria.
Mangia only put pen to paper on a one-year deal which has left his future in some doubt given that he’s been linked with a move to Verona.
“There is a European Championship to play,” he stated when questioned about a possible renewal with the Italian Football Federation.
“We’ll talk about that in the future, but I certainly won’t rule out the possibility of remaining in charge of the national side.”
Mangia’s Italy have been placed in Group A and will face hosts Israel, England and Norway. The competition will take place between June 5 and 18.
