Bryan Cristante is looking forward to being a stable part of Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan squad next season.

The 18-year-old, an Italian-Canadian youth team midfielder, signed a professional contract with the Diavolo in March until June 2018.

“Next season? It’s very satisfying to be a part of the Milan squad, it shows that hard work pays off,” he told Sportal.

“Allegri is a great Coach. When I’ve trained with the first team squad, he’s always given me precious advice and, when necessary, criticism.”

Cristante is rated highly by those in the know at Milanello, but he is keeping his feet on the ground.

“The road ahead is still very long,” he added. “When I’m a fixture in the squad and a first teamer then you can say that I have arrived.

“Until then, I’ll just have to work day after day…”
