Catania midfielder Francesco Lodi has insisted that Cesare Prandelli has his reasons for leaving him out of the Italy squad.
The 28-year-old has been instrumental in guiding the Elefanti to eighth in Serie A this season.
And the trequarista has claimed the Coach is entitled to not pick him for the Azzurri, whilst also commenting on the friendly draw with Brazil.
“Italy played very well yesterday,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “They did not deserve to be two goals down.
“But even after that, there was a big reaction from the players.
“It is up to Prandelli to decide [who is in the national team]. If he does not call me, then I'm sure he has his reasons.”
