Ascoli striker Zaza suffered a left buttock strain during last night’s Serie B game, while Newcastle United defender Santon was diagnosed with a first degree lesion to the left thigh after pulling up in training.

The Azzurrini will welcome their Russian counterparts to the Stadio Tombolato in Cittadella on Friday evening, kick-off at 20.00 GMT.
