The agent of Angelo Ogbonna has dismissed suggestions that Lazio could sign the Torino player in the summer.

Some whispers yesterday were linking the Italian international with a switch to the capital club at the end of the season.

“I read that story too, but I know nothing about it,” representative Giovanni Branchini told La Lazio Siamo Noi.

“It’s a rumour that sounds like a quip. It’s a waste of time commenting on something which is without any foundation.”

The 24-year-old, who Toro value at around the €20m mark, has been linked with Milan, Roma, Fiorentina and Juventus in the past.

He’s also known to have admirers in England.
