Thiago Silva said it will be “a source of great pride” to play against Italy and the Brazilian already knows who he’ll swap shirts with.
The former Milan defender is expected to start in Geneva on Thursday in this friendly encounter.
“It will be a source of great pride to play against Italy, including some who won the World Cup,” he told Globoesporte.
“May the best team win and may the best team be the Seleçao! At the end of the game I will swap shirts with Salvatore Sirigu.”
Thiago Silva is teammates with Italy second choice goalkeeper Sirigu at Paris Saint-Germain.
