Preziosi upbeat despite bad run

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has claimed that his side have done well recently, despite losing their last three matches.

The Grifone have failed to pick up points against Roma, Milan and Fiorentina, but the club chief has insisted that things are going well.

“We have played well in recent games,” he told reporters. “However, in the last three games we have failed to pick up a single point.

“There are grounds to believe that we can take the necessary steps to stay up.”
