Riccardo Montolivo has congratulated his Milan teammates for the way they bounced back from their Barcelona drubbing.
There were concerns that the Diavolo could suffer a hangover against Palermo at the weekend following their 4-0 loss at the Camp Nou in the Champions League.
The third-placed Rossoneri, though, collected a crucial 2-0 win thanks to a brace from January signing Mario Balotelli.
“We did well to forget about that night at the Camp Nou,” the midfielder wrote on his official website.
“It was an important victory for us in the chase to reach second place in the table. After the international break, we will face nine Cup Finals.”
The San Siro giants are two points behind Napoli and three points clear of fourth-placed Fiorentina.
