Andrea Pirlo insists there is no such thing as a friendly in international football ahead of the Italy-Brazil tie.
The two giants of the world game will meet in Geneva, Switzerland, on Thursday and the Juventus playmaker is hopeful his side will prove their worth – especially while exhibiting their new shirt.
“We want to wear this jersey in the best way possible,” the midfielder stated on Monday afternoon at Coverciano.
“And it is always a pleasure to take part in games like this one coming up,” continued the former Milan man.
“There are no such things as friendly matches in football, especially when Italy are involved and especially when the opponents are Brazil…”
