Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has admitted that he is happy with his current form at the club.
The Dutch shot-stopper was dropped by previous Giallorossi Coach Zdenek Zeman earlier in the season – and there were reports that the 30-year-old could make a move to Fulham.
But the Netherlands international, who has been recalled to the starting XI for both club and country, has revealed his pleasure at getting back on the pitch.
“At the moment I am doing fine,” he told Sport Promotion. “I am certainly on the right track.
“My goal was to regain my place, and I have done that.
“I am happy again.”
