“Quality counts at the end of the day. Our build up play was good but our finishing let us down. If it was 1-1, who knows what would have happened,” he said of the 2-0 defeat in Turin, 5-0 on aggregate.

“On the night, was it a fair result? Class tells in the end. I hope the players have learned a lot and move on with their careers. I am very proud to be manager in this arena, and hope the young guys blossom from this experience.”
