It is now official, Pescara have sacked Coach Cristiano Bergodi after they slipped to the foot of the table.
The Delfini pulled the plug following today’s 1-0 home defeat to Udinese, which left them joint bottom with Palermo.
Pescara released a statement this evening confirming Bergodi had been removed from his post, but was thanked “for his effort and passion.
“The club will announce the name of his successor over the next 24 hours.”
Bergodi was only brought in after Giovanni Stroppa resigned on November 20.
It is widely believed Pescara will promote Cristian Bucchi, the current Primavera youth team Coach.
