Napoli defender Miguel Angel Britos fractured his jaw during last night’s 1-1 draw with Juventus and could require surgery.
The Uruguayan accidentally clashed heads with teammate Gokhan Inler 29 minutes into the match at the Stadio San Paolo.
He seemed to be out cold when he hit the ground, but recovered and was even able to finish the first half.
The official Napoli website has confirmed Britos fractured his jaw during that incident and will visit a specialist today to decide whether he needs surgery.
