Milan will have to fight it out with Manchester United for the signature of Italian youngster Marco Verratti.
The 20-year-old Paris Saint-Germain regista has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri after President Silvio Berlusconi admitted that the club are tracking his progress.
But the Daily Express have today claimed that Sir Alex Ferguson is also a fan of the Italy international, and is keen to bring him to Old Trafford.
Verratti has been virtually ever-present for the French side this season, playing 18 League games for the capital club.
He could be available for a fee of around €20m.
