Roma striker Erik Lamela has admitted that it has been a good season for him personally, but not so for the team.

The Argentine forward has bagged 11 goals in 19 Serie A appearances this term, but the youngster has conceded that the Giallorossi haven't quite fired on all cylinders.

“On a personal level I have been pleased with what I've done so far,” he told Goal.com. “But I am not going to stop here.

“Regarding the team though, so far we have not been able to express ourselves the way we would have wished.

“We need to start finding consistency, and only then can we try and qualify for the Champions League.”
