Radja Nainggolan possesses the quality to play for a European giant, says Cagliari boss Ivo Pulga.
The Belgium international midfielder is one of the club’s most wanted players, with offers made for his services last month.
“He’s a universal player,” Pulga told Radio Sportiva. “He can be used in any midfield role, but his ideal position is when he plays in a midfield three.
“I think he would do really well in a big team and I’d be very happy for him as it is only right that he goes and plays to battle for honours.”
The 24-year-old, who has Indonesian roots, was targeted by Juventus in January 2012 and Napoli this time around.
“I know that President Massimo Cellino had to turn down some important offers to keep him with us,” Pulga added.
Nainggolan has two goals in 21 League games this term.
