Rossi: 'Samp, forget the 6-0 with Toro'

Delio Rossi is “curious to see if the team has forgotten the 6-0” as Sampdoria follow up that thumping victory by taking on Torino.

The Blucerchiati demolished Pescara with a tennis score last Sunday, but their Coach hopes that can be set aside to begin a new battle. It kicks off at 17.00 GMT, click here for a match preview.

“Every game is a new test for me. We have to see how we do in this test, playing with a relaxed mind and the right attitude,” said Rossi.

“Any team can put you under pressure, it all depends on how you approach the game. This is why I am curious to see if the team has forgotten the 6-0 from last week. Winning gives you self-confidence, but every game has its own story.”

Angelo Palombo is included despite getting a knock and the Coach admits he is happy the transfer window is over.

“It certainly causes problems for the players. We gave a chance to those who asked to be sold. If Andrea Poli and Mauro Icardi have numerous offers, it means they are doing well with Samp. They are intelligent lads and know their future depends on what they do here.”

Sampdoria squad for Torino: Berni, Da Costa, Romero; Berardi, Castellini, Costa, De Silvestri, Gastaldello, Mustafi, Poulsen, Rossini; Krsticic, Maresca, Munari, Palombo, Poli, Renan, Soriano; Eder, Estigarribia, Icardi, Maxi Lopez, Sansone
