Genoa have become the latest club to be linked with Fiorentina and Italy full-back Mattia Cassani.
The 29-year-old is available for transfer this month after failing to break into the first team plans of Viola boss Vincenzo Montella.
Cassani, who was signed outright in the summer from Palermo after a 12-month loan spell, has only appeared in eight League games this term – just four from the start.
Palermo, Inter and Sampdoria have all shown an interest this month, but it seems that Genoa are keen.
Genoa official Rino Foschi and boss Davide Ballardini know the player well from their time together in Sicily.
