Real Madrid have confirmed they are “still negotiating” with Milan over Ricky Kaka, despite claims to the contrary.

Adriano Galliani stated on Saturday that it was “101 per cent” sure Kaka would not be joining the Rossoneri this month.

However, today Jose Mourinho’s assistant manager Aitor Karanka spoke to the media and painted a different picture.

“We are still negotiating over the Kaka situation and we’ll see how it ends, otherwise he will be an extra man for the squad.”
