Catania Coach Rolando Maran has praised Vincenzo Montella ahead of their match against Fiorentina this weekend.

The Elefanti host the Viola at Stadio Angelo Massimino, and the 49-year-old is hoping for a better result than their 2-0 loss to the Tuscan team earlier in the campaign.

“I hope and expect a different result,” he told a Press conference. “But we will have to be clever against a strong team like Fiorentina.

“Montella has cast a very positive impression on me. You have to say 'hats off' for the way he is coaching at the moment.

“Fiorentina have made remarkable progress this season.”
