Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has warned “it is not possible” for the club to sign Ricky Kaka or Mario Balotelli right now.
The negotiations for both players continue, although Real Madrid and Manchester City refuse to release their stars on loan.
“Balotelli and Kaka? Neither of them will arrive,” Berlusconi told Radio 2.
“It is not possible at the moment with the economy in this condition. Adriano Galliani always has hope, but the accounts hold him back at the end of the day.”
It is reported that Manchester City set a new ultimatum for Milan to offer €25m within 48 hours or forget about signing Balotelli this month.
The Rossoneri have repeatedly stated they would love to snap up SuperMario, but only if City lower the price-tag substantially or agree to release him on loan.
