Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has confirmed “Barcelona are tracking me and enquired about my situation,” while Bayern Munich are also interested.
The 22-year-old talent has impressed at the Stadio Olimpico, often playing in a more advanced role this season.
“It’s true, Barcelona are tracking me and enquired about my situation with my club,” Pjanic told Spanish news agency EFE.
“They were watching me during the game with Fiorentina. It is Roma who have to decide, as the clubs deal with these matters.
“In any case, it is clear that Barcelona are a team everyone would like to play for and it is an honour that they are interested in me.”
As Roma are not in European competition this season, he would also be available to play in the Champions League if he made a January transfer.
There are also reports this evening that former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola wants Pjanic in his squad at Bayern Munich next season.
