Edin Dzeko’s agent has laughed off reports Inter are planning to use the Wesley Sneijder sale money to sign him from Manchester City.

The Nerazzurri are looking to reinvest on the market after selling Sneijder to Galatasaray for €7.5m, simultaneously ridding themselves of his €6m per season wages.

This is certainly not the first time that Inter have been linked with Dzeko, whose deal with City expires in June 2015.

“Are Inter interested in him for next summer? I know nothing,” agent Irfan Redzepagic told TMW.

“Inter have never contacted me and I think the answer would be obvious. Edin is happy at Manchester City and he's not going to move from there, neither in January nor in summer.

“He still has two-and-a half years on his contract and there is no reason to talk about the future. And then I repeat: neither Inter nor any other club have called me.”
