Nicola Pozzi has joined Siena on-loan from Sampdoria, the Tuscan club have confirmed.

The 26-year-old has signed for Giuseppe Iacchini's side until the end of the season, having found himself on the fringes at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The former Italy Under-21 international has played just six games this season for the Bluerchiati, and will hope to reignite his campaign at the bottom-of-the-table side.
