Boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that Arsenal are keeping an eye on Napoli sensation Edinson Cavani.
“Cavani is a player that I like,” stated the Frenchman. “Will he cost a lot of money? That's for sure. Nobody would deny that.
“But our banker lives just next to me at the moment and he is ready if we find the right player.”
The Uruguayan international will not come cheap given that he has a €63m rescission clause inserted into his contract.
The 25-year-old moved to the Stadio San Paolo in 2010 after the Naples club agreed to pay Palermo €17m for the striker.
In May, Cavani signed a new deal with the Azzurri until June 2016. He’s scored over 90 goals for Napoli since his switch.
