The agent of Hernanes has cast doubt over the future of his client with capital outfit Lazio.
The Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the player, tied to the Biancocelesti until June 2015, has turned down the offer of a new contract.
And Joseph Lee, the midfielder’s representative, has admitted that the two parties could go their separate ways in the summer.
“There are a lot of clubs interested in him,” Lee is quoted as saying. “Lazio didn’t want to let him go this season, but I don’t know what could happen now.
“Perhaps negotiations could take place over a potential sale for next season.”
The 27-year-old, a Brazilian international, moved to the Bianconcelesti in the summer of 2010 after Sao Paulo accepted a €10.5m offer for him.
