Giuseppe Biava has looked to cool the enthusiasm surrounding his Lazio side after they cut Juventus’ lead at the top of the table to just three points.
The capital club have quietly gone about their business and the second-placed outfit are now within touching distance of Serie A’s summit.
“We have still not done anything yet,” the veteran defender said after the 2-0 home win against Atalanta.
“We are happy that we have gnawed away at the points difference, but now comes the most difficult part,” he continued.
“We’ve seen in the past what happens when you let your guard down.
“We are happy that we are keeping pace with a side like Juventus, but the championship is long and we have to think about one game at a time.”
Juve entertain Udinese at the weekend, while Lazio travel to relegation-threatened Palermo in Week 21.
